The 121266 is a versatile EtherCAT terminal designed for industrial automation applications. It features a digital input interface (EL1262) that acquires fast binary 24 V control signals from the process level and transmits them in an electrically isolated manner. The terminal supports secure recording, processing, and output of safety-relevant signals through TwinSAFE-capable EtherCAT Box modules. Additionally, the 121266 series includes options for direct connection of intrinsically safe actuators suitable for explosive atmospheres (zones 0/20 and 1), as well as modular junctions (EK1122) and EtherCAT P topologies for flexible system configuration. It is compatible with accessories tested up to 500 MHz data rates for high-performance communication.
