The 1037048 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for precise position measurement. It features a through hollow shaft and operates with a supply voltage of 4.5V to 5.5V DC (nominal 5V DC). The encoder provides six signal channels via TTL/RS-422 communication interfaces, with an initialization time of approximately 40 milliseconds and an output frequency of up to 600 kHz.
