The 1218820 is a proximity optical sensor with a sensing range from 10 mm to 500 mm. It features a photoelectric detection principle with background suppression and narrow beam capability. The sensor operates in push-pull mode with NPN/PNP output configurations. It is housed in a rugged VISTAL casing designed to withstand various chemical, thermal, and mechanical environmental conditions. The sensor includes a plate N02 for universal clamp mounting, made of steel with zinc diecast.
