The KL3122 is an analog input terminal designed for handling signals in the range of 4 to 20 mA. It digitizes the current signal with a resolution of 16 bits (default 15 bits). The terminal features differential input technology and can be powered via the K-bus, consuming approximately 40 mA from the bus. It supports multiple channels and can also process input voltages up to ±10 V with a resolution of 12 bits.
