The KL5001 is a high-precision, 1-channel bus terminal designed to serve as an SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) master. It enables direct connection to absolute encoders with SSI, facilitating accurate data transmission. The terminal outputs clock bursts for reading encoder data and makes the incoming data stream available to the controller within the process image. It operates with a 24 V DC power supply and supports variable data rates, making it suitable for precise industrial encoder applications.
