The IFS254 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting metal objects within a sensing range of approximately 4 mm. It features a cylindrical brass case coated with white bronze, operates on a voltage range of 10 to 30 V DC, and has a switching frequency of up to 700 Hz. The sensor uses an M12 x 1 threaded barrel for mounting and includes a 2-meter cable for electrical connection. It offers high protection ratings suitable for harsh industrial environments and incorporates short-circuit and overload protection for reliable operation.
