The 55256 is an I/O system designed for sensor supply with a voltage of 24 V DC (EN 61131-2) and a maximum current of 200 mA. It features a short-circuit and overload protected M12 female connector. The system includes digital inputs and outputs, such as DI8 and DO8 modules, supporting Ethernet 10/100 Mbit/s communication. It also incorporates POF (polymer optical fiber) connectors with push-pull mechanisms and power connectors rated up to 12 A with 5-pole A-coded M12 connections.
