The LUFP7 is a Profibus-DP / Modbus RTU communication gateway designed to interface multiple devices within industrial automation systems. It features two RJ45 connectors for Modbus serial link and PC connection, as well as a connector for a 24V DC external power supply. The gateway allows integration of various Schneider Electric products, such as motor starters and variable speed drives, by mapping Modbus RTU addresses to Profibus DP addresses. It supports connecting groups of up to eight TeSys U starter controllers or other compatible devices on the same Modbus serial link, facilitating seamless communication within industrial networks.
