The TM3XTRA1 is a remote transmitter module designed as an expansion I/O module within the Modicon TM3 range. It is compatible with various Modicon PLCs such as M221, M241, M251, and M262, allowing the capacity of these PLCs to be extended by up to seven additional modules that can be remotely mounted up to five meters away. The module features a single Ethernet port for communication and has a current rating of 100mA. It is suitable for applications requiring remote transmission and expansion of PLC input/output capabilities.
