The 5ST3040 is an undervoltage release with two contacts (two normally open), designed for control circuits operating at a rated voltage of 230V AC at 50 Hz. It features six terminals suitable for connection to miniature circuit breakers such as 5SL4, 5SY, 5SP, RCBO 5SU1, and FI 5SV, including compatibility with handle couplers like 5ST3805-1. The device is used to trigger control actions when the supply voltage drops below a specified level, ensuring safety and proper operation of connected equipment.
