The 053-1IP00 is an interface module designed for industrial automation systems, supporting EtherNet/IP communication. It functions as a remote I/O device, facilitating seamless integration with various fieldbus systems such as PROFIBUS-DP and CANopen through functional DIP switches for address setting. The module features a bus interface and power supply for the bus coupler, with electronic modules that are not separable from the bus interface. It is compatible with up to 64 peripheral modules and includes status indicators for easy monitoring. This version replaces the obsolete CIP-based IM 053IP and is part of the VIPA System SLIO family.
