The EL6001 is a serial interface module designed to connect devices with RS232 interfaces, operating in accordance with CCITT V.28/DIN 66 259-1 standards. It functions as a bus interface for RS232 levels and supports communication through two data transfer channels. The module can be installed on mounting rails and features LEDs and connector assignments for ease of setup. Additionally, from software version 10 onwards, the EL6001 includes auxiliary functions for sending and receiving LIN signals, making it suitable for various industrial communication applications within automation systems.
