The EL6695 is an EtherCAT bridge terminal designed to facilitate real-time data exchange between EtherCAT terminal strands with different masters. It features two complete EtherCAT slaves, enabling independent distributed clock units for synchronized data communication. The device supports Ethernet communication via two 100 Mbit/s ports (one primary and one secondary) with RJ45 connectors, allowing for robust and high-speed networking over a distance of up to 100 meters. Additionally, the EL6695 handles EtherCAT distributed clock synchronization and processes specific state requests to ensure reliable operation within automation systems.
